So much eating, visiting with family and old friends, eating, meeting new family and new friends, eating, dancing and partying, eating and drinking....I'm really glad there's no scale in the hotel, as I would register a significant weight gain from all the fabulous food that's been in abundance at the various wedding activities.
But what a wonderful thing to have the unraveled and widely scattered threads of our family come together, however briefly, in a big fuzzy ball of yarn all in one place! Sure enough, today the ball is starting to unravel again as wedding guests depart, and tomorrow the happy couple will leave for their honeymoon in Hawai'i. But it was together for a while, making memories and reminding us that, however scattered we are, we are still a family that loves staying connected, in whatever ways are possible in this super-connected age.
So, aloha to everyone and a big mahalo to the beautiful bride, handsome groom, and their generous and gracious parents for this very special weekend. I'm so glad I was able to join in!
Thanks to my brother for this fabulous photo of our little family at the wedding, with the backdrop of a dramatic Rocky Mountain stormy sky. Fortunately no rain fell and the blustery wind died down just in time for the outdoor ceremony.

How fun to get a good dose of family on both sides of the pond. And did you bring us this pretty day? It was miserable all weekend.
Sorry to hear about the bad weekend. The weather in Denver Monday was absolutely chamber-of-commerce quality, although there were serious snowstorms in the mountains over the weekend. Looks like you might get another good English sunset shot, though!
