A new coat!

I have a minute this morning to post a short note and correct a past omission. One of the highlights of a recent day's outing was buying the coat I've been looking for! This very nice leather jacket that actually isn't too heavy to be of use in San Antonio, yet with my other layers will be plenty warm enough for the winter here! I was so excited to find it, and find that it fit me (actually, I can't take credit for that—Joan's the one who found it on the rack). And it wasn't too expensive as I bought it at an Oxfam charity shop. Plus the money goes to a good cause.

It felt really good yesterday as the weather has turned a little blustery. The picture here was taken soon after the purchase in front of some still lovely flowers in St. James' Park.
